Michael D. Cassell is a partner in the firm of Hogan & Cassell, LLP. He has over fifteen years experience representing individuals and corporations in all types of civil litigation matters including but not limited to, matters concerning breach of contract, employment disputes, appeals, personal injury and matrimonial issues. Mr. Cassell has represented several insurance companies on a national basis in coverage disputes dealing with intellectual property, securities and environmental insurance issues. Many of these disputes involved claims worth hundreds of millions of dollars. He has also handled the defense of general liability claims, litigated commercial disputes and defended products liability and contract disputes. He has argued and authored numerous appeal briefs before the New York Appellate Division First and Second Departments; the Superior Court of New Jersey Appellate Division; and the Second and Third Court of Appeals.
